ARTXCODE's Art Basel 2024 Guide

Coinciding with this year’s edition of Art Basel in Switzerland, ArtMeta presents the inaugural installment of The Digital Art Mile, a vibrant space dedicated exclusively to digital art. For the occasion, ARTXCODE is pleased to co-curate two booths and highlight the participation of Ix Shells, Eko33, Helena Sarin, Juan Rodríguez García, Linda Dounia, Sasha Stiles and Sofia Crespo.

ARTXCODE CURATES

MakersPlace: Booth 2 at Space 31

For MakersPlace, ARTXCODE's curation includes Robotic Scrolls of the Mind, a standout series of six unique generative artworks by Eko33 and En Mi Cuerpo, a long-form generative collection of 100 artworks by Juan Rodríguez García that marks the first release of its kind on the MakersPlace platform.

Cinello: Booth 3 at Space31

For Cinello, ARTXCODE's curation includes two dynamic works by Linda Dounia, drawing on her highly acclaimed Once Upon a Garden series, a simple yet sophisticated line of AI-powered poetry by Sasha Stiles in which sunlight, trees and wind collaborate to compose a moving page, and a playful GAN output by Helena Sarin.

Presented in partnership with Cinello, the works are available to collectors as DAW® (Digital Artwork): a bundle consisting of the original artwork file, a very high-definition monitor, a custom-made frame and a patent device and software that protects the uniqueness of the work. This patented technology secures the digital artworks into portable hardware (connected to high-resolution monitors) imbuing them with a unique sculptural sensibility.

ARTXCODE HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to co-curating two booths, we are proud to spotlight the participation of artists on our roster, namely Sofia Crespo of Entangled Others Studio. Crespo presents a video work as part of Fellowship's expansive exhibition, Collaborations with the Artificial Self, at Space25.
